From July 31st – August 1st, 2023, Padmaja Kumari Parmar visited the city of Dungarpur in the southernmost part of Rajasthan, India. While there she was the chief guest at a couple of events.
At one she eloquently addressed the importance of women’s empowerment and education, emphasizing the pivotal role that women play in driving positive change within their communities. At the other she passionately advocated for Type 1 Diabetes awareness, underscoring the critical need for raising awareness and providing resources for those affected by the chronic condition.
Her involvement in these events emphasizes her dedication to fostering education, empowerment, and healthcare initiatives which are some of the main causes of Friends of Mewar.
