Ann Marie Wilkins is the founder and CEO of Wilkins Management, Inc. (WMI), an entertainment company in Cambridge, Massachusetts, through which she has helped develop the careers of musicians such as Branford Marsalis, Harry Connick, Jr., and Joshua Redman. She is a principal of HC Productions, Inc., where she has produced Emmy Award-winning TV shows and critically acclaimed DVDs. In 2001, she co-founded Marsalis Music with Branford Marsalis and has produced Grammy-nominated recordings.
She is a resident of the board of New Orleans Habitat Musicians’ Village, an organization created in response to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and she serves on the boards of Cambridge Community Foundation and Music Education Initiative, Inc. She earned a B.Sc. and M.B.A. (accounting and finance) from Cornell University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, after which she worked as a CPA for KPMG in Houston, Texas, and practiced corporate law at Arnold and Porter in Washington, D.C. before founding WMI in 1986.
