Padmaja Kumari Parmar was the Guest of Honor & Keynote Speaker at a special event hosted by Akshaya Patra Foundation to celebrate the 5th anniversary of their school meal program in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India on July 21st, 2023.
The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Bengaluru, India. The Foundation strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the PM POSHAN (Mid-Day Meal) Program. It provides nutritious meals to children studying in government schools and government-aided schools. Akshaya Patra also aims to counter malnutrition and support the Right to Education of children hailing from socio-economically challenging backgrounds.
The event recollected glimpses of Akshaya Patra’s journey in Udaipur by recognizing the talented students, outstanding teachers, and exceptional staff members for their achievements and impact.
